Brandy has a strong passion for dance. Dance isn’t just an activity but her lifestyle. After training in dance, she found her passion in teaching. Her students bring her happiness because they have grown not only as amazing dancers but as beautiful individuals. She finds her joy in molding the young minds into the new generation of dance.
Brandy started her dance training at the age of 10 and has been dancing ever since. She is well trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. At the age of 13 Brandy started to assist and sub classes and that is where she found her passion and love for teaching. By the next year, she continued this teaching journey and took on multiple classes.
Brandy attended Santa Susana Performing arts high school, where she was the president of the dance team and the captain of the hip-hop team. After graduating high school Brandy went on to continue her dance career at Moorpark College. While she was there, she had performed and choreographed for multiple dance concerts.
Since her journey of dance, she has been in a few music videos for VA Street, Pixi Kill and some commercials. She has won many awards in dance whether it has been competing at competitions or at school. Her choreography has won many titles, as well as outstanding awards.
Brandy is so humbled that she gets to do what she loves every single day and is so happy that she gets to be a part of the Westlake High School dance team as their head coach and share her passion and knowledge with all their wonderful students.
David began his dance career in high school were he trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. He instantly found a natural ability in movement and technique and his love and passion for dance immensely grew. While on his high school dance team, David won several solo titles, as well as placing in the Top 5 at USA nationals his senior year as a soloist.
David graduated college in the Spring of 2015 with his associates degree in fine arts. David was able to present his choreography in multiple dance concerts. He received the Merit Award for Contemporary dance in the Spring of 2014.
David is currently teaching master classes and choreographing for dance studios throughout the U.S. His pieces have won several choreography awards as well as national titles. David can be seen performing at the Walt Disney World’s number one rated show on property, The Festival of The Lion King. He has also most recently performed at the annual Out and Equal Summit at the Swan and Dolphin Resort.
David enjoys working with dancers of all ages and sharing his love and knowledge of dance.
